Hey guys, it looks like you all were very busy for this few weeks especially for Charlie. This is a message to all Charlie platoon, all the best for the upcoming Specialist couse and we will be waiting for your good results :D
Although your creativity came in 3rd in this district, but, it proved itself to be 1st in other district. Good job guys! We are so proud of you!

Alright, i thought i should kick start the updates. Congratulations to charlie for completing the camp as well as sherman for obtaining the title of overall outstanding cadet 10. Charlie, i suppose this experience would have been the most horrifying but yet gratifying one. The camp demonstrates the extreme cases that would occur in your future life as a specialist. It may had been your first, but more of these panicky, unexpected situations will come. That being said, even though you may not have solve some of these problems with your fullest potential and the most logical answer, it was a good platform to stimulate your critical thinking skills.
I don't know how much of what i've said during this morning's AAR had been absorbed, so i will reiterate the most major takeaway of my words here again. You guys (charlie) need to start thinking about the post you want to achieve as a specialist. Why you want it, and how does your character suit this post? You need to convince us with both your words and your actions that you are the best we have got for this post. Of course we are not referring to empty promises that most of you are prone to give during the interview. We want to see your plans, your goals and your vision when you are at the post you desire most. We want to see our future USM not just being able to tell us that he/she will bring the unit to greater heights, we want plans such as pushing NCC Land to be the most outstanding contingent during NDP and how you can go about doing it etc. (that being said i do not expect 17 people to come telling us the same point). Step up during the interview and take full control of it by flooding us with your passion. We do not want to hear "i have leadership" again without anything backing it up. Little time is given for thinking since we have made the assumption that most of you would have already thought through what you want to be, so be prepared during the interview and come into the room with the sole purpose of impressing us.
***Besides the interview, we would also like to see consistency in your actions. Not consistently under performing, but rather consistently stepping up and achieving the goals and objectives you had set for yourself and the part you are taking. We will give opportunities for you to perform in the coming month. But right now, the best platform would be specialist course 10. Show us that you dare to step up and do something more and i assure you that you will be noticed. Fight for what you desire with the potential you kept capsulated during the camp. At the same time, remember that you guys still are together as a team and DO NOT break yourself up during this period of time. The best way is not to compete but just put in your best effort. Leave the rest to the specialists, seniors, clts and teachers.
All the best charlie, and we will be looking forward to your performance =)
